Saturday Update 12.9.20

Saturday Update   12.9.20

Tomorrow please join together for worship at 10a.m.  There will be a short video reflection on our facebook page and a words  version will be available on our website

We will join with others for  Evening Prayer at 7p.m. which will be led this week by the Connect clergy – a  short video reflection  will appear on the Connect facebook page which brings together the congregations at the west side of Inverclyde ( formerly referred to ass fuzzy parish) Please check look at the facebook page and join in the words of the prayer. The text of the prayer will be available on our church website and facebook page.

Many churches are providing online worship and a list is available on the Church of Scotland website.Radio and TV programmes are also available.

Tomorrow we have our first in person worship since lockdown in March. We look forward to welcoming people into the church buildings. A short service will take place in the main hall on Sunday at 2.30p.m. and again on Wednesday at 11a.m. We are living with restrictions set out to keep everyone as safe as possible in all areas of our lives at this time and that of course includes worship at church, so things will look and feel different to the last time we gathered together . You should have received a newsletter through the post which gives all the information – a copy of this is available on our church website. Please phone Karen or Liz to book in to any of these services – phone booking is required to enable us to manage numbers and to provide necessary information for the Test and Protect scheme. We are also  introducing a new phone in option – call 01475 270225 and you will hear a recording of the Sunday morning reflection.

Hope you are able to join us  for worship in whichever way suits you best.

Take care – Karen
