Harvest Appeal

Harvest Appeal

Our Harvest Thanksgiving service took place on Sun 4th October, with both online and in person worship focusing on that theme. Thanks to those who have already responded to the Harvest Appeal,  showing thankfulness by sharing God’s gifts with others, our neighbours here in Inverclyde through donations to the foodbank and our neighbours further away through donations to our partner projects in South Africa. There’s still time to make a donation.

There will be a collection point  on Wednesday 7th October  from 11a.m. – 12 noon. Collection boxes will be located outside the main hall doors and volunteers will be there to assist. Please observe physical distancing as you drop off the items and use hand gel which will be available.

The Foodbank would be grateful for the following items at this time : –

Tinned goods – meat, vegetables, fruit, rice, custard

Diluting juice

Toiletries – for adults and children

You can support the South African Projects  – Vhutshilo Mountain School ( Venda), Sunshine Association and Cotlands  by making a financial donation. Please make cheques payable to Westburn Parish Church and mark South African Projects on the back. Cheques can be posted to Westburn Parish Church, 9 Nelson Street , Greenock or dropped off at the foodbank collections times noted above.

Thank you for all the ways you help your neighbours.
