Easter Sunday Early Bird Service 2009

As usual, on the morning of Easter Sunday, the Early Birds of Greenock Westburn Church met at 6.30am, at the Church prior to walking to the summit of the Lyle Hill for a short Act of Worship.
Aged from two years upward, over 30 people gathered in a very peaceful setting to take part in this simple act of worship led by the Rev Douglas Hamilton.
At the end of the Service they returned to the Church Hall to be met by the Rev Bill Armstrong and his team who had prepared a breakfast of bacon rolls, hot cross buns, croissants, tea, coffee and orange juice. All agreed that the fellowship enjoyed was worth the early morning rise,
Who would believe that in the twenty years of this Service - it has NEVER rained !!
